SunnySide Farm, LLC grew out of my mission statement I wrote over twenty years ago. It is my goal to enrich the lives of others. Growing up in Oklahoma in a dairy farming family, I learned gardening, canning, sewing, animal husbandry and more, in a multigenerational setting. After graduating from Oklahoma State, BS in Animal Science, I was employed with the USDA before becoming a home educator for twenty-five years. I began teaching co-ops, which led to hundreds of students in four different states. The next logical step after our children graduated was to create a business doing what I loved.
Unafraid to tackle weird subjects with up to 50 students at a time, comprised of various ages together in one class, I have taught Archaeology, Bible, Biology, Plants, Simple Chemistry, CSI, Cultures and History. Enriching my life was not what I expected setting out, but I have been blessed!
